Bose Quietcontrol 30 Wireless Headphones Noise Cancelling

On This Session we are going to cover the Bose Quietcontrol 30 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones.

So from a pro perspective they have excellent noise cancelling, Have used these regularly over the last few months on many, many flights and can’t say enough of how good the noise cancelling system is on these, not only do they cancel out the engine noise, but also will mostly drown out any crying babies as well, #justsaying.

One of the new features on the Bose Quietcontrol 30 is you can adjust the level of noise cancelling. Before it was all or nothing, now you can control the level depending on your needs and environment. Love the fact that they are wireless, and the big plus is they can be paired with up to 10 devices and can be connected to 2 devices at a time.

There is also an app for both IOS and Android as well that allows you to manage the connected devices, control the volume and noise cancelling levels, and from my experience has worked well.

On the Con side of these, I do a lot of Web conferences and the Mic is  sensitive and picks up a lot of the background noises so have to be extra conscious of it. If possible a noise cancelling mic would be a great addition, but so far have not found a headset that has both noise cancelling and a noise cancelling Mic…Anybody else know of one would love to try. They do have a long battery life, but if the battery does die, you don’t have an option to continue using them with a cable, which would be a good option for the future.

I think overall for if you need a noise cancelling headset for  travel this set of headphones is excellent, as I said I would prefer something with a noise cancelling mic given all the web conferences I do, but these definitely are excellent sound quality and noise cancelling for long flights, also love that you can pair them with multiple devices and stay connected to two devices at once. I will cover a few more headsets that tick a few more boxes for me personally.

Review of Sony Extra Bass Bluetooth Wireless Headphones

Today we are going to cover the Sony MDRXB950BT/B Extra Bass Bluetooth Wireless Headphones.

Sony MDRXB950BT/B Extra Bass Bluetooth Headphones

On the pro side of things, the Sony MDRXB950BT/B Extra Bass Bluetooth Wireless Headphones have excellent Battery life. The Sony MDRXB950BT/B Extra Bass Bluetooth Wireless Headphones can get over 2-3 days of use out of them between charges.

As well the audio quality is excellent as you would expect with most the Sony Headphones. They have the extra bass button which enhances the bass on any tracks you are listening to. there are no wires to get tangled or caught on things.

One benefit is the Sony MDRXB950BT/B Extra Bass Bluetooth Wireless Headphones will still work if the battery dies. The included audio cord will give you . But this is also a con which I will cover below.

Another big plus is how easy they are to pair, they are NFC enabled so all you need is a tap to pair them up to a new device, no messing with holding buttons to get into pairing mode.

On the Con side of things, I do a lot of Web conferences and the mic is extra sensitive and picks up all the background noises so have to be extra conscious of it. As well you can’t use this with two devices at the same time, as you can with some other headphones I have used and will review HERE.

As well it can only keep a couple of paired items in memory at a time and I have found I usually have to re-pair to get it to connect with a device I have used before.

An additional issue is when the battery does  die you can still use them but only as regular headphones, not sure why they would not have included an inline Mic with the provided cable.

I think overall for a Sub $200 set of headphones you get a good bang for your buck with the build quality as well as the sound quality, but there are a few areas which could be improved in a future version, as well there are some other options which I will cover that tick a few more boxes.
